Summer Intern, Gates Summer Internship Program (GSIP)

The Gates Summer Internship Program (GSIP) is a full-time, paid, 11-week biomedical research training program on the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Our mission is to advance cell and gene therapy by empowering undergraduates to join the next generation of scientific leaders pursuing careers in regenerative medicine.

GSIP is a key educational initiative of the Gates Institute, with a mission to advance cell and gene therapy by empowering undergraduates to join the next generation of scientific leaders pursuing careers in regenerative medicine.

Interns work in a Gates Institute member's laboratory and pursue research in a broad range of disciplines from basic through translational research. They also participate in weekly seminars, social events, professional development workshops, and a community service project, and present their research in a poster session during the GSIP Symposium.
